Windows Built for the Way You Live

Our tilt-and-turn windows have a dual-function design to easily open two ways, with one hand: tilt inward from the top for quiet ventilation or swing in like a door for a wide-open breeze. It's a simple mechanism, but elevates the look and how the windows are used day to day - easy to clean from the inside, easy to adjust the airflow.

The performance is where they really shine. Airtight seals, multi-point locking hardware, and multi-chamber insulated frame construction combine to deliver roughly 2x the energy efficiency of standard American windows — which means fewer cold drafts, lower heating bills, and a house that holds its temperature instead of fighting to keep it. Add in hardware and frames built to hold their seal for decades, and you've got a window that performs as well in year twenty as it did on install day.

Superior efficiency. Effortless operation. Built to last.

This is what Use Better Windows looks like

We offer these systems in both uPVC and aluminum, so you can match the material to the project whether that's a high-performance envelope on a custom build or a wall of glass that needs a slimmer frame.

uPVC
uPVC is the quiet performer. Multi-chamber frame construction and precision German-engineered hardware combine to give you a window that holds its seal for decades. No warping, no swelling, no repainting.

Why builders and architects choose it

  • ~0.15 U-value meaningfully outperforms vinyl and wood windows

  • Multi-point locking hardware, standard on every unit

  • Triple-pane glazing available for our coldest climates

  • Won't crack, fade, or warp; minimal long-term maintenance

  • Wide range of frame colors and interior/exterior finish combinations

Aluminum
Aluminum gives you the sightlines. Slim frames mean more glass and less visual interruption which is the right call when the view is the point. Light and durable, it’s ideal for large, panoramic sliding casements.

Why builders and architects choose it

  • Slimmer profiles than uPVC, for larger glass areas per unit

  • Thermally broken frame construction for genuine energy performance

  • Holds tight tolerances on oversized openings

  • Available in configurations for larger commercial-adjacent openings

  • Steel-look and hidden-frame options for a sleek finish

Why the Numbers Matter

A window's U-value tells you how much heat it lets escape - the lower the number, the better it performs. Ours are engineered to hit 0.15 U-value which in practice means fewer cold drafts near your windows in January, lower heating bills, and a house that holds its temperature instead of fighting to keep it.

It's a simple number, but translates to year-round comfort.

How We Work With You

1 - We review your plans
Send us your drawings early. We’ll work with your builder and architect to identify where performance, sizing, or hardware choices matter most.

2 - We provide a detailed estimate
Frame material, glazing, color, hardware - every unit is built to specs. Estimates include all product and shipping costs.

3 - We handle logistics
Custom European manufacturing means lead times matter. Typical time is 8-10 weeks from confirmed order to on site delivery.

4 - We support installation
With a background in building, we know what crews need to get this right the first time, and we're on call for questions during the install.
